One Plus 11R Design Review
After using the OnePlus 11R for more than a month, I can confidently say that it looks almost exactly like the standard OnePlus 11, which costs more. The two phones are virtually identical, with the exception of the absence of a glittery pattern on the camera island and the absence of the Hasselblad logo on the camera housing.
The OnePlus 11R is one of the most visually appealing phones in its category because of the similarities between the two devices, which gives it a more opulent appearance. Even though the OnePlus 11R is slightly taller, wider, and thicker than the OnePlus 11, you won't be able to tell the two apart unless you hold them side by side.
In the OnePlus 11R 5G, OnePlus has retained the well-known "Alert slider" feature, which lets users quickly switch between notification settings without having to unlock their phone. Additionally, a brand-new OnePlus feature is the device's top-mounted infrared (IR) emitter.
The IR Remote application included with the phone empowers clients to control different electronic gadgets and machines at home after a speedy arrangement. The dark variation of the 11R 5G highlights a matte-finished glass back that opposes fingerprints easily.
The plastic mid-frame of the OnePlus 11R replaces the standard model's metal housing. Although this distinction may only be apparent when compared to the OnePlus 11, it does make the 11R feel less premium. Additionally, face unlock is required because the fingerprint sensor is too low on the screen, making it difficult to use.
With a weight of 204 grams, the 11R is also slightly heavier than other phones, but this is to be expected given its larger 6.74-inch size and materials of construction. Despite this, OnePlus has done an excellent job of distributing the device's weight throughout, making it comfortable to hold and easy to use. In general, it is a good option for anyone looking for a phone of high quality at a reasonable price.
One Plus 11R Display Review
Even though the OnePlus 11R's display does not have the same QHD resolution as the OnePlus 11, it is still notable. The 6.74-inch Fluid AMOLED panel has a resolution of FHD+ (2772 x 1240) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is impressive because it offers vivid colors and the option to change the color profile in the settings to be more natural. Although the LTPS panel still manages to automatically switch refresh rates to fixed intervals of 40Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz, the phone does not have an LTPO panel. For longer battery life, users can also select 60Hz lock.
Although the OnePlus 11R supports HDR10+ and HLG, the device does not deliver the 1,450 nits of brightness promised for HDR content in actual use. It does not support multimedia content with Dolby Vision. It can still be seen in direct sunlight. While contrasting the 11R with the standard model, the last option reliably eclipses it and presents better variety the executives. Strangely, OnePlus picked a Dragontrail defensive glass arrangement over the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus utilized in the OnePlus 11.
One Plus 11R Performance Review
The OnePlus 11R has the most recent OxygenOS 13 version based on Android 13, which makes using the device a breeze. The OnePlus 11R's interface is still cleaner and more polished, despite its visual and tactile resemblance to Oppo devices. The user interface is largely free of bloatware and simple to use. The company still promises three major OS updates and four years of security updates for the OnePlus 11R, despite the fact that it is not eligible for the OnePlus 11's extended software support policy. We have no doubts about the OnePlus 11R's performance or feature set so far, but it remains to be seen if they can keep their word.
The phone's hardware is more than just pretty; it consistently delivers fast, smooth performance without noticeable throttling or overheating. The OnePlus 11R's cooling framework is productive, guaranteeing that the phone remains shockingly cool in any event, during concentrated exercises. It does a great job of handling games like Genshin Impact and multitasking. If you want to push the phone to its limits, the high-performance mode is available; however, it may generate more heat, so use it sparingly. The phone performs flawlessly in everyday use without showing any signs of thermal throttling.
During our usual stress test, the OnePlus 11R exhibited admirable resilience with few or no issues. The benchmark scores also show that it can withstand our rigorous use. The device scored 861,175, which was higher than the OnePlus 10T but lower than the iQOO 9T and OnePlus 11R in AnTuTu tests. It also did well on Geekbench 6, scoring 924 and 3589 in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
One Plus 11R Camera Review
The OnePlus 11R has three rear cameras, the primary of which is a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It comes with a 2MP macro sensor and an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view. However, it is important to note that only the primary camera produces outstanding results.
The camera application is like that of the OnePlus 11, yet without the Hasselblad Variety Science (HCS) and highlights like XPan and Hasselblad Master mode. In comparison to the OnePlus 11, the primary camera produces sharp images with pleasing colors. However, it tends to be cooler. When choosing between the two, personal preference is a factor. There is no discernible shutter lag between shots, and the camera quickly focuses.
The system occasionally fails to completely blur the background, so portrait shots are decent but not exceptional. As can be seen in the examples, there is no blurring in the background near the neck, which may be due to the challenging environment with multiple books in the background. Despite this, the flower samples show that the portraits look good when taken outside.
Indoor-light execution is palatable, with the essential camera conveying point by point shots with insignificant commotion. Digital zoom is supported up to 10 times, but not more than 2 times. The 2MP macro sensor is pretty useless, and the 8MP ultra-wide camera has worse image quality due to more noise and less detail. The overall performance of the camera is hampered by these two sensors, but the primary camera with 50 MP is sufficient to take excellent pictures.
The front-facing 16MP selfie camera takes good pictures with skin tones that are acceptable and little overprocessing.
The primary camera only supports 4K video at 60 frames per second (fps) on the OnePlus 11R, while the ultra-wide camera can only record 1080p. The video quality is normal and unexceptional.
One Plus 11R Battery Review
The 11R is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which offers remarkable battery life. During our testing, we accomplished more than seven hours of screen-on time with moderate use, including virtual entertainment applications like Instagram and Twitter, as well as real time features like YouTube and Netflix, notwithstanding some photography. In view of our perceptions, apparently the OnePlus 11R's battery duration can easily keep going for over a day even with weighty use. In addition, based on our observations, the OnePlus 11R's battery life appears to be able to comfortably last for more than a day even under heavy use. In addition, OnePlus emphasizes that even after four years of use, their "Smart Battery Health Algorithm" significantly extends the phone's lifespan.
A 100W SuperVOOC charger is included in the OnePlus 11R, which is a slight decrease from the 150W charger that came with the OnePlus 10R last year. This wattage, on the other hand, is still impressive and should not be regarded as a decrease. The OnePlus 11 uses the same charger, demonstrating OnePlus's commitment to providing cutting-edge features. To fully charge the battery from empty with the 100W charger, it takes approximately 30 minutes and 10 minutes, respectively.
Review verdict: Should you buy OnePlus 11R?
The OnePlus 11R presents a convincing choice that helps us to remember OnePlus' Flagship killer days. Starting with its affordable price point, it manages to hit almost every right note. OnePlus appears to have cut costs by using a charger with a lower wattage, which isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
The phone's resemblance to the OnePlus 11 may have contributed to its high-end appearance and feel. Thecurved display is ideally suited for consuming substance, particularly when matched with the sound system speaker arrangement. Moreover, the essential camera performs splendidly in most lighting conditions. A compelling package is created by combining all of these features with an outstanding battery life.
While the OnePlus 11R doesn't include an IP rating and the super wide point camera is normal, it stays a magnificent decision for regular clients. In fact, we'd go so far as to say that the OnePlus 11R is more cost-effective than the OnePlus 11.
